PSYCHIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER
CURRENTLY TAKING NEW CLIENTS!
Hello! I am a Nebraska native and a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. I believe that every person deserves to be heard, respected, and supported, and I strive to create a comfortable environment where patients feel safe discussing their mental health concerns.
I have been a registered nurse for nine years and have had the privilege of working in a variety of settings throughout my career. I spent six years serving children, adolescents, and families within Lincoln Public Schools and have also worked in correctional and inpatient psychiatric settings. These experiences have allowed me to work with individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges and have strengthened my passion for helping others improve their overall well-being.
I earned my Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Leadership and Management before completing my post-graduate certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, graduating with honors.
My approach to care is collaborative, individualized, and focused on building trust. I believe treatment is most effective when patients feel empowered to participate in decisions about their care, and I value creating strong therapeutic relationships through respect, open communication, and genuine partnership. I currently provide psychiatric care for adolescents and adults and look forward to helping patients navigate life's challenges with compassion, respect, and evidence-based treatment.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and supporting my children in their many extracurricular activities. I understand the challenges that come with balancing the demands of everyday life and am committed to helping patients find practical and effective solutions that support their mental health and overall well-being.
