PSYCHOLOGY RESIDENT

I am a predoctoral intern wrapping up my sixth and final year of my PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Wyoming. I earned my Bachelor of Science at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois, where I studied Psychology and Behavioral Neuroscience while playing NCAA Division III softball. I then began my doctoral studies in Laramie, Wyoming where I developed a passion for rural mental health care. My clinical interests include working with neurodivergent individuals of all ages (e.g., ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder), and working with children and adolescents who have externalizing behavior concerns. My clinical practice is rooted in a cognitive-behavioral approach, integrating strengths to help clients reach their therapeutic goals. I have received specialized training in TF-CBT, PCIT, CAMS, Organization, Time Management, and Planning (OTMP) skills, and DBT. I especially enjoy working with girls, women, and LGBTQIA+ folks during their neurodiversity journey, assisting through diagnostic assessment and therapeutic intervention.

When I am not seeing clients, I play roller derby for Lincoln's NoCoast Roller Derby Team. I can also be found reading, weightlifting, watching Chicago sports (Go Cubs), or playing video games. I also work on research projects through the Attention and Learning Lab at the University of Wyoming, specifically investigating sex/gender differences in ADHD and exploring exercise as a viable treatment for ADHD.
